Dhaka, Seoul to maintain cooperative ties: Korea


PV Desk : Bangladesh Ambassador to South Korea Abida Islam highlighted Bangladesh’s success in socio-economic development, role in peace keeping and women empowerment including our achievements in fish, food, pharmaceuticals production and RMG sectors.

Referring to the attainment of required qualification for LDC graduation, she said Bangladesh is on course of becoming a developed country by 2041.

Emphasizing on the excellent bilateral relationship between Bangladesh and Korea, she invited the Korean investors to invest in special economic zones and high-tech parks in Bangladesh.

Another programme was organized at the Embassy on Saturday participated by Bangladeshi students, EPS (Employment Permit System) workers, business of Bangladesh community.

After the singing of national anthem, a documentary on the overall development activities of Bangladesh was shown.
