PV Desk : Health and Family Welfare Minister Muhammad Nasim today urged all to come forward to strengthen the hands of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina to continue the pace of the country’s development by using information and communication technology (ICT).
“Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has the capacity of dynamic leadership and she is the fittest person for taking the country forward. Times and scopes should be given to her for advancing the nation and there is no alternative to it,” he said while addressing the inauguration session of a three-day Digital Innovation Fair-2018 here today.
District Administration organised the fair on the playground of Rajshahi College. Around 70 stalls were set up under five pavilions at the fair venue to display latest ICT products and services.
Chaired by Deputy Commissioner of the district Helal Mahmud Sharif, the session was addressed, among others, by Akhter Jahan, MP, Divisional Commissioner Nur-Ur-Rahman, Zila Parishad Chairman Muhammad Ali, Rajshahi College Principal Prof Habibur Rahman and Deputy Commissioner of RMP Amir Jafar.
Speaking as the chief guest, Nasim said the present is working sincerely to reach all services at the doorsteps of people.
He said common people have already started getting digital services – e- governance, e-education, e-agriculture, e-health and other e-services – at union parishad, upazila and district levels.
“The Vision 2021, envisioned by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, has given the nation a concrete direction of building a middle-income digital country,” the Health Minister said.
He said a digital system was introduced to reach digital services to the common people and the process of educating young generation with science and ICT continues.
