PV Desk : Bangladesh and Cambodia today signed 10 instruments — an agreement and nine memorandums of understanding (MoUs) — to boost trade and investment relations as well as enhance cooperation in various fields like tourism, agriculture, civil aviation, ICT and technical education. The agreements were signed after the official bilateral talks between Bangladesh and Cambodia held at Peace Palace in Phnom Penh here this morning.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina led the Bangladesh side at the talks, while her Cambodian counterpart Hun Sen led his country.
The two prime ministers witnessed the signing, while ministers and high officials concerned of both the countries penned the documents for the respective sides.
The agreement signed today is on cooperation between the Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry and the Cambodian Chamber of Commerce.
On the other hand, the MoUs inked today are on cooperation in the field of Tourism, Aquaculture and Fisheries, Information and Communication Technology and related industry, MoU on cooperation between the governments of Bangladesh and Cambodia concerning labour and vocational training.
