‘ACC fails to reach high-profile corrupts’


PV Desk : Former Bangladesh Bank governor Dr. Mohammad Farashuddin said that that Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) fails to reach the high-profile corrupts in the country.
He said this while speaking at a function at the auditorium of Shilpakala Academy in the city on Tuesday (November 21). The ACC arranged the function on the occasion of its 13th founding anniversary.
Speaking as a chief guest, Farashuddin said that the high-profile corrupt officials are more active than before, but ACC did not hold big ones yet. ACC alone can’t combat corruption while a major segment of the society is corrupt, he commented.
