PV Desk : Dainik Purbokone editor Taslim Uddin Chowdhury died on Wednesday morning. He was 63.
He breathed his last at a hospital in Dhaka around 6:45 am, said Mohammad Ali, a senior journalist of the daily published from the port city.
Family sources said architect Taslim Uddin Chowdhury, hailing from Raozan upazila of the district, had long been suffering from various incurable diseases.
He is survived by wife, two sons, one daughter and a host of relatives.
Meanwhile, Chittagong Press Club, Chittagong Journalists’ Association and Metropolitan Journalists’ Union leaders expressed profound shock at the death of the Purbokone editor.
