Khaleda reaches Cox’s Bazar to visit Rohingyas


PV Desk : BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia reached Cox’s Bazar on Sunday evening (October 29). Her motorcade reached the district town at about 8:00 pm.

She will stay overnight in Cox’s Bazar Circuit House. The BNP chief is scheduled to visit the Rohingya refugee camps at Balukhali, Boalmari and Jamtali in Ukhia upazila in the district on Monday (October 30).

After distributing relief materials among the Rohingya refugees and inspecting their situation, she will return to Chittagong in the evening.

Wrapping up her four-day tour, Khaleda Zia will return Dhaka on Tuesday (October 31).

BNP secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, the party’s standing committee members Amir Khosru Mahmud Chowdhury, vice chairmen Abdullah-al-Noman and Shamsuzzaman Khan Dudu and other senior leaders of the party are accompanying the BNP chief.

Many leaders and activists of the party joined with Khaleda Zia’s motorcade from Nayapaltan central office, Narayanganj, Munshiganj, Feni and several other places on her way.
