Khaleda Zia harasses court, says Quader

PV Desk : Awami League General Secretary also Minister for Road Transport and Bridges Obaidul Quader said that BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia irritated the court during her appearance at a special court in Dhaka Thursday (October 19).

“After her appearance in Zia Orphanage and Zia Charitable Trust graft cases, Khaleda Zia alleged that the court has harassed her. But I would say that she herself has harassed the court.”

“She made the trial delayed for eight months by seeking time repeatedly”, added the minister.

“The pro-BNP lawyers have proved that they aren’t respectful to the law and they don’t obey it, as they were engaged in fistfighting at the court premise while Khaleda Zia was leaving the court after her appearance Thursday”, he further said.

The minister was launching Awami League’s program for renewing membership and recruiting new member Friday (October 20).
