Suu Kyi, her govt.found guilty in int’l people’s court

PV International Desk : Myanmar’s de facto leader Aung San Suu Kyi, army chief Senior General Min Aung Hlaing and the Burmese government were found guilty in International Permanent People’s Court for Rohingya genocide and atrocities on others.
It was known from the Malaysian newspaper- ‘The Star’ –which circulated the new item in its online version on Friday (September 22).
The Star Online reports that the Myanmar government is guilty of genocide against the Rohingya people and other Muslim minorities.
The seven-member panel of the international Permanent Peoples’ Tribunal on Friday (September 22) announced the verdict after considering documentary and expert evidence as well as the testimony of some 200 victims of the atrocities committed against the Rohingya, Kachin and other minority groups in Myanmar.
The judges of the panel are- Daniel Feierstein, Nursyahbani Katjasungkana, Shadi Sadr, Boehringer, Helen Jarvis, Nello Rossi and Zulaiha Ismal.
