Veteran journo Syed Martuza Ali dies at 68


PV Report : Veteran journalist Syed Martuza Ali breathed his last in Australia Tuesday morning due to old age complications. (Innalillahe—raziun).
Born in Madaripur in 1949, Syed Martuza Ali did his masters from the Dhaka University in journalism in 1972. He started his journalistic career in the Weekly Dawn in Karachi in 1969. In later years, he joined ENA and Bangladesh Observer.
His book titled ‘The Hitch in the hill’ had earned a wide range reputation. He visited a number of countries in his professional life.
Chittagong Press Club, BFUZ, CUJ and Chittagong Journalist Cooperative Housing Society expressed profound grief at his demise and prayed for salvation of the departed soul.
