Bangabandhu’s portrait vandalised in Chittagong City

PV Desk : A portrait of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman has been vandalised in Chittagong.
The incident has been reported from the port city’s Kapashgola early Wednesday after the nation paid tribute to the memory of Bangladesh’s founding father the previous day.
The installation, which also includes an image of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, was put up almost a year ago, said leaders of the Awami League’s student front.
Some of kind of liquid has been splashed on the portrait covered with glass.
Subhash Mallik, a student leader of the Chittagong College, said miscreants splashed petrol on the portrait.
“They also set fire to one of floral wreaths put during the National Mourning Day programmes.”
