Not enough aid for flood victims in north: Fakhrul

PV Desk : BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has claimed that flood victims in the north are not receiving enough relief from the government.
He has asked the government to mark the region as a flood-stricken zone immediately.
“People in Dinajpur and other northern districts are stranded in floodwaters but the government seems reluctant,” Fakhrul said.
The senior BNP leader distributed relief among flood victims at Bangibecha terminal in Dinajpur on Tuesday.
He asked local BNP leaders and activists to forget their differences and unite in order to help the flood victims.
Local BNP leaders accompanied him as he visited flood-affected areas in Birganj Upazila and interacted with people.
