PM to monitor dev works as guardian of Ctg, says Salam


PV Report : Chittagong Development Authority(CDA) Chairman Abdus Salam said Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will monitor development works of the port city as guardian of Chittagong.

He said this while speaking at a mass reception accorded by city’s Mohra No5 ward Awami League and its affiliated organizations following the approval of giant project worth 5,616 taka at the ECNEC to address water-logging in the city.

He said the Prime Minister herself personally gives directives on resolving all problems of Chittagong. She allocates an ever biggest fund for the uplift of the city as she believes that advancement of the port city means progress of the entire country, he added.

Chaired by SM Anowar Mirza and moderated by Nazim Uddin Chowdhury, the function was spoken of, among others, by Rafiqul alam, Md. Farook, Kazi Mahbub, Hasan Murad Chowdhury, Sekandar Chowdhurym Jashim Uddin, Shahidul Islam Dulal, Azam Khan, Sheikh Ahmed and Jashim Uddin.
