PV Desk : The fire that broke out at the main building of Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka earlier on Friday noon has been brought under control by fire fighters.
However, the place is still engulfed by huge smoke where hundreds of people including airport officials and passengers were stranded outside the airport.
The fire broke out at the 3rd floor of airport building around 1:50pm. Ten units of fire fighters were deployed to douse the fire. After 2 hours of endeavor, the fire has been brought under control around 3:15pm.
