Ctg to be a ‘dream-city’, says CDA boss

PV Report : Chittagong Development Authority(CDA) Chairman Abdus Salam said Chittagong would be a ‘dream-city’ free of traffic jam as well as water-logging if the ongoing uplift projects are implemented once.

He said this while talking to local politicians, businessmen and social workers as they greeted him with flowers on approval of  projects worth Tk 5,617 cr by ECNEC recently.

He said Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s uplift policy is role model for the world. She is generous in developing Chittagong as she thinks it is the key to development of the entire country.

Beside the project worth Tk 5,617 cr, other Tk 14,000 cr projects under CDA are in progress. Chittagong would be a ‘dream-city’ if these projects are implemented once, he added.
