PV Desk : The fourth meeting of the Joint Trade Committee (JTC) of Bangladesh and Thailand begins here tomorrow with the aim to boost bilateral trade and investment.
The two-day event will start at 9.30 am through a secretary-level meeting at Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel, according to a commerce ministry release.
It will be followed by a ministerial meeting of the JTC on Thursday at the same venue. Commerce minister Tofail Ahmed will lead the Bangladesh side while his Thai counterpart Apiradi Tantraporn will head the Thai team.
At the secretary-level meeting, Commerce Secretary Shubhashish Bose and Director General of the Department of Trade Negotiation of Thai Commerce Ministry Boonyarit Kalayanamit will lead their respective sides.
