PV Desk : Awami League General Secretary also Minister for Road Transport and Bridges Obaidul Quader said that it is not obligatory for his party to meet the demand of a poll-time aid government.
Besides, Awami League doesn’t have any pressure over the issue, he said.
The senior ruling party leader made the remark while talking to journalists after attending a deal signing program for employing consultant regarding construction of bridges in eastern and southern parts of the country.
The program was arranged at Setu Bhaban, in the capital’s Banani.
However, the bridges minister further said that everything regarding the polls will be arranged following the constitution.
“It’s not proved that the people of the country are insisting for the aid government. Therefore, Awami League isn’t bound to meet the demand”, he added.
