PV Desk : A Chittagong court has ordered police to arrest all suspects in a case filed over the death of Bangladesh Chhatra League leader Diaz Irfan Chowdhury.
Chief Judicial Magistrate Munshi Moshiur Rahman also banned the suspects from leaving the country.
He issued the order after reviewing the report of Diaz’s second autopsy and a plea submitted by his mother Jaheda Amin Chowdhury, also the plaintiff of the murder case.
The murder suspects are trying to flee abroad, said lawyer Jubaida Sarwar Chowdhury Nipa, Diaz’s elder sister.
“I pleaded the court seeking an order for their arrest and travel restrictions. The court has also looked into the report of his second autopsy submitted by the CID,” she said.
The body of Diaz, a central committee leader of the ruling Awami League’s student front, was found hanging in his home on the Chittagong University campus last year.
