BNP’s proposal for supportive govt not realistic: Tofail

PV Desk : Commerce Minister Tofail Ahmed said today the BNP’s proposal for election-time supportive government was not realistic as there is no existence of such provision in constitution of any country across the globe.

“There is no constitution in the world having provision of supportive government. So, the proposal of BNP to this end is not realistic,” he said while addressing a function as the chief guest marking inauguration of a new building of Charfassion Upazila Pasishad.

“BNP has no option without taking part in the next general election as they took lessons from their wrongdoings of not participating in the last general polls,” he said.

“The next election will be held under the ruling Awami League government as per the constitution and the Election Commission will hold the polls,” he said.

Inaugurating the Charfassion Upazila Parishad building, Local Government, Rural Development and Cooperative Minister Engineer Khander Mosharraf Hossain said, “The AL government has done a huge development works in Bhola for welfare of the people not for getting vote.”
