Friday’s first hajj flight cancelled


PV Desk : The first hajj flight of Friday (August 4) was cancelled due to complications regarding visa of the pilgrims.

The flight of Biman Bangladesh Airlines BG3039 was scheduled to leave for Saudi Arabia’s Jeddah carrying 419 pilgrims at 06:55am.

Sources said that the flight was cancelled as almost half of the passengers couldn’t manage visas.

However, efforts underway to send them in other flights later, added the sources.
