PV Desk : A three-member team of Indian investigation agency NIA arrived in Bangladesh to interrogate Sohel Mahfuz, one of the prime accused for carrying out attack in Holey Artisan in Gulshan and an explosion in India’s Burdwan in 2014.
The team of NIA (National Investigation Agency) arrived in Dhaka Sunday night (July 16).
The visiting Indian detectives already held a meeting with some higher officials of Bangladesh Police at Police Headquarters on Monday evening (July 17).
Assistant Inspector General (confidential) of police Mohammad Moniruzzaman said that they have come to Dhaka for enquiring Sohel Mahfuz, one of the top leaders of JMB (Jamaat-ul-Mujahideen Bangladesh), and a prime accused in the case over Burdwan blast in India.
Indian police were craving to catch Nasrullah alias Hat Kata Mahfuz alias Sohel Mahfuz after the blast in Khagragarh in Burdwan that killed two suspected Indian Mujahideen terrorists.
