PV Desk : Rajdhani Unnayan Kartripakkha (Rajuk) has carried out an eviction drive at the Gulshan residence illegally occupied by BNP leader Moudud Ahmed on Wednesday.
The special drive in the house (Plot No-159) led by Rajuk magistrate Waliur Rahman started on Wednesday noon (June 7).
Earlier on June 4, the Supreme Court rejected the review petition against earlier verdict asking BNP senior leader Moudud Ahmed and his brother to leave their home holding plot no.159 in Gulshan-2.
Besides, the appellate division also scraped another appeal seeking review of charge forming cancellation against Moudud and his brother Monjur Ahmed, accusing of embezzling the home.
Therefore, the case would not run anymore, said the lawyers at the court.
A five-member appeal bench led by Chief Justice Surendra Kumar Sinha passed the order in the morning.
