PV Desk : Members of Counter Terrorism and Transnational Crime (CTTC) unit of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) recovered equipments used for making explosives, from a suspected militant den in Savar.
On Friday night (May 26), the law enforcers cordoned-off two houses in Namagenda Molla Market area in suspicion of militants might be hiding there.
Besides, laptop and jihadi books were also recovered in the raid.
Two CTTC teams were conducting the drives under supervision of Dhaka district police.
Earlier, on Friday evening, law enforcers cordoned-off a five-storey building at Molla Market area and later another house close to it at around 10 pm.
The explosive-making equipments were recovered from the latter one, but no people were found in the house, said police.
