Bangladesh v New Zealand: Tri-nation series, Match 6

Bangladesh spinner Nasir Hossain has seen the back of Neil Broom and Tom Latham after a century partnership between the New Zealand pair in the last match of the Ireland tri-nation series.

Broom (63) swept a fuller one from Nasir hard towards square leg where Mashrafe Bin Mortaza held on to a sharp catch at Dublin’s Clontarf Cricket Club Ground on Wednesday.

In Nasir’s next over, Latham stayed back in his crease and tried to flick it towards the leg-side but missed as the ball went through the gates to hit the offstump.

After Bangladesh elected to field, Mustafizur Rahman took out Luke Ronchi early on but the New Zealand batsmen took advantage of some sloppy efforts from the Tigers’ fielders and put up a 133-run second wicket partnership to take charge.
