Militancy, drugs major obstacles to development: Anisul


Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Anisul Huq today said militancy and drugs are ‘major obstacles to development and we have to keep our struggle on against these two to build a developed Bangladesh’.”We all have to be united in this fight and have to remain vigilant and conscious to keep our future generation away from militancy and drugs,” Anisul said.
He came up with the observations while addressing a rally after inaugurating newly-built police station building in Kasba, Brahmanbaria last evening.
Public Works Department (PWD) constructed the building at a cost of more than Taka 6 crore.
“The present government is determenined to carry out development work for the people. The wheel of development in the country under the leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is moving. But it would be deficcult to keep the wheel moving unless the law and order situation remain normal,” Anisul added.
